Tips to Avoid getting phished

• Think Before You Click
  • Ask yourself does it make sense that you would get this email, before you click on anything
• Verify the email address 
  • You can mouse over the email address and it will show who the email is actually coming from 
• Verify the link
  • Mouse over the links in the email and verify that they are coming from where they should be from
  • You can mouse over the email address and it will show who the email is actually coming from

Reporting Suspected Phish or Spam

If you suspect an email is a phishing email, click the phish alert button - that will create a ticket for the email and IT will investigate the email.

If we find that it is a real phishing email, we will remove it from everyone's email.

Don't Approve an Random Duo push

If you ever get a random Duo Push on your phone, that you didn't trigger (see below).  Make sure to click Deny.  You will only get this if someone is trying to login to your account.
